Haikou Holds Dialogue with ASEAN Consulate Generals

The 15th Dialogue Between Haikou and the Consulate Generals of ASEAN Countries in Guangzhou was held in Haikou on December 7th online and offline. Themed on "the Hainan Free Trade Port and RCEP: Key Industry Cooperation Opportunities," the event includes the contract signing, the Haikou tourism seminar and the medicine and health development cooperation forum. Consulate generals from the seven ASEAN countries – Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Laos in Guangzhou and in Haikou – attended the event.

Hainan Island International Film Festival to Be Held on Dec 18th-25th

Co-sponsored by China Media Group and the Hainan Provincial People's Government, the Fourth Hainan Island International Film Festival will be held in Sanya, Hainan from December 18th to the 25th, 2022, said an announcement released by the organizing committee of the event on Saturday.

First Courier Station on Hainan Island Ring Expressway Starts Construction

Recently, the construction of Yingge Changwan Station, the first courier station on the Hainan Island Ring Expressway, has started. It is the largest and courier earliest station among all the 40 tourist stations along the expressway. Covering a construction area of 78,000 square meters, the station, one of the eight key stations along the road, has an investment of nearly 800 million yuan. It features complex landscapes that combine salt fields and pits and ponds. The station is expected to be put into operation by the end of 2023.
